{Decay Edition}

This edition was isnpired by and based around the aesthetics of decay.

"It is considered that time, per se, helps us to understand the essence of things. The Japanese see a particular beauty in old age. They find attraction in the grey shade of bark on the trunk of an old tree, worn stonework, the shabby appearance of a photograph... All these manifestations of age they call "Samba" a word properly meaning "Rust" So, samba is a physiologic oxidation, the beauty of past times the insignia or patina of time. Samba, as an element of beauty, embodies the liaison between art and nature."

Andrei Tarkovski, Sculpting in Time
